Jesus Saves Ministry is a community of faith serving immigrant families across Leiria, Lisbon, Porto, and Faro. We don't believe church should be limited to a Sunday service — so our team spends the week visiting homes, praying with people, and walking alongside families as they navigate life in a new country.

2nd Anniversary

A Story From a Home Visit 

Last month, our team sat with a family who had just received a letter from AIMA they didn't fully understand. What started as helping translate a document turned into an afternoon of tea, prayer, and laughter with their kids. This is what our ministry looks like most days — not a program, but a table, a conversation, and Jesus showing up in the middle of ordinary life.

Why We Do Church Differently 

At Jesus Saves Ministry, you won't find us waiting for people to show up on a Sunday. Our model is relational and weekday-centered — home visits, shared meals, prayer over real struggles. For immigrant families building a new life in Portugal, we believe faith has to meet people where they actually are, not just in a building once a week.

It's slower. It's more personal. And we believe it's closer to how Jesus Himself did ministry.

Growing in Faro
